Gary Lee McCulloch, M.D.

Dr. McCulloch earned his first Bachelor of Science degree at Auburn University, where he attended on a four year Army ROTC scholarship.  He is a proud United States Army Veteran having served for four years upon his graduation from Auburn in 1972.

While in the Army, Dr. McCulloch received numerous citations and awards including the U.S. Army Commendation Medal and the National Defense Service Ribbon.  He held many leadership positions and resigned commission as U.S. Army Captain in 1976 to return to work in his family business with his father.

Shortly after, he returned to school to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Science from the Auburn University at Montgomery.  He later attended the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile and graduated in 1985.

Dr. McCulloch completed his family medical internship and residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham.  During his residency, he earned the position of Chief Resident.  Dr. McCulloch is a family doctor and is affiliated with Community Hospital in Tallassee, Alabama.

A competent and caring physician, Dr. McCulloch has dedicated his medical career to family medicine in order to care for families in his home state of Alabama.  His bedside manner and medical expertise is a comfort to the patients in his care.

Teresa "Tesa" Hodge, PA-C

Tesa is from Eclectic and graduated from Elmore County High School.   She attended Auburn University where she met her husband of almost 30 years, Chuck.  After graduating from Auburn, she attended Emory University where she completed the Physician Assistant Program with a Masters in Medical Sciences of Medicine.

 

Her past work experience includes over 10 years in Internal Medicine and Family Practice in Eufaula, Auburn, and here with Dr. McCulloch for 2 years.  She comes back to us after almost 15 years of working for a large Interventional Cardiology group in Columbus, GA.

 

Tesa and Chuck have two children, Cody and Teri.  Both currently attend Auburn University.  Cody is married and has 2 children, Luke and Ellie.
